Our past interns didn’t get a face mask on their first day, but Sarah Mok did. We’re glad she’s willing to mask up and join as an environmental and industrial hygiene intern.
Sarah is currently finishing the Master of Public Health program at Ohio State, from which she’ll graduate in May. She has a health sciences degree from Cleveland State, where she was captain of the women’s division one fencing team, and previously worked as a laboratory technician at a wastewater treatment plant.
As a Safex intern, Sarah will conduct respirator fit testing, assist with industrial hygiene monitoring and support our environmental team. She’s interested in all aspects of HSE but keeping people safe at work is what drives her.
