Safex President Dianne Grote Adams has been recognized by the Columbus chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) as one of four finalists for the 2015 Columbus Visionary Award. Each year, NAWBO Columbus hosts this coveted award as a way to recognize one Central Ohio woman business owner who has achieved success with her business while making notable contributions to her community, her industry and to initiatives for other women in business.
Dianne opened Safex in 1992 when she recognized a need for a strong industrial hygiene and safety company in the Central Ohio region. She envisioned a consulting firm where employees enjoyed the benefits of flexible schedules, a strong work/life balance, professional development opportunities and profit sharing, while also focusing on providing quality services at fair prices. The Columbus Visionary Award will be presented to one of the four finalists during the Columbus Visionary Awards Gala on July 17, 2015 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.
